You no longer have to visit or call around to different Post Offices to find available Post Office boxes. You can now find them online at www.usps.com. The Postal Service’s new PO Boxes Available Locator makes finding just the right P.O. Box Quick. Easy. Convenient.
Post Office Mailbox Locations
To check it out, go to www.usps.com/poboxes and click on Go under “Locate a Post Office Box” on the right-hand side. When you enter a ZIP Code or address to locate an available P.O. Box, you receive a list of the closest Post Offices along with P.O. Box information for each office. To find the closest location to your home or business, enter your full street address. Information includes availability by box size and associated 6-month box fees, as well as the address, telephone number, and fax number for each Post Office listed. For more details, including P.O. “PO Box Locator” Launched on USPS.com
Customers can now search online at USPS.com® for available Post Office box service. On November 9, 2007, the Postal Service™ launched a new “PO Boxes Available” search option that helps customers locate Post Offices™ with available Post Office box service, including available box sizes and prices.
To search for available Post Office box service either by ZIP Code™ or address, go to www.usps.com; click on Locate a Post Office; in the “Options” drop-down menu (under “What are you trying to locate?”), click on PO Boxes Available (see Exhibit 1); type in a ZIP Code or an address in the available boxes; and then hit the “Search” button.
