Winamp 2.81 Download
I've just bought Creative 4.1 speakers. Unfortunately when inserting
an audio CD, Winamp 2.81 plays it with a lower sound level in
comparison with Windows Media Player. All sound bars (both
Winamp+Windows 98SE sound settings) aren't working properly. I can't
change sound level by this way. The oscilloscope in Winamp doesn't
work also.
I don't understand it. There is no problem when playing audio files
from HDD or using Windows Media Player. I get full loudness. It seems
to be a specific problem with Winamp 2.81 and audio CD's only. And
there was no problem at first time when I installed Winamp. Is there a
faulty relationship with Winamp and my new 4.1 speakers? I hear
nothing when I change over from 4.1 mode to stereo.
My sound card: Realtek ALC658 onboard, drivers updated (v. 3.53)
Does anybody know the cause and it's solution, please?
